Overview

Assets are the stuff—furniture, jewelry, art, whatever’s in the estate. You need to add them before members can like, rank, or claim. Maybe you’re cataloging everything from the house, or you’re adding items as you discover them. Either way, here’s how.

Steps

  1. Go to Asset Management (or Assets in the menu).
  2. Click Add Asset.
  3. Enter the name (e.g., “Grandma’s silver tea set”).
  4. Add a description—condition, provenance, anything that helps people decide.
  5. Choose a category (Furniture, Jewelry, Electronics, etc.) and condition (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor).
  6. If using dollars or points, enter the value.
  7. Upload photos if you have them—they help a lot.
  8. Save. The asset shows up in the browse list for members.
