Overview

Sometimes someone needs to be removed from the estate—they’ve opted out, passed away, or there’s a legal reason. Archiving hides them from the active list without deleting their record. Maybe you’re cleaning up after a dispute, or a beneficiary has formally declined.

Steps

  1. Go to Family or Member Management.
  2. Find the member and click Archive.
  3. Confirm. They’re removed from the active member list.
  4. They won’t be able to participate in distributions unless you restore them.

Member Managers can’t archive admins. Only admins can archive other admins.
