Overview

How do you want to divvy things up? Traditional means everyone takes turns picking in real time—like a draft. Automated means the algorithm assigns items based on rankings and dibs. Maybe your family loves the drama of a live round, or maybe you’d rather avoid the scheduling headaches and let the system handle it.

Your Options

Traditional — Members pick in order, one at a time. Great when you can get everyone together (or online) for a live session. You choose the order: by role, manually, or random.

Automated — Members rank and call dibs; the algorithm resolves conflicts. No live session needed. Best when people are scattered or have busy schedules.

Fully Automated — Same as Automated, but with minimal admin involvement. The system runs the show.

Pick based on your family’s style and how much hands-on control you want.
