Before the algorithm runs, you can review dibs—the “must-haves” members have claimed. Maybe someone called dibs on 10 things when the limit is 3, or a dibs reason looks frivolous. You can approve, remove, or ask for clarification.
Steps
- Go to Distribution → Dibs Review (after the liking phase, before conflict resolution).
- See who called dibs on what, and their reasons.
- Flag anyone over the limit—they’ll need to remove some dibs.
- Remove dibs that don’t meet your standards (e.g., “because I want it” with no real reason).
- Approve the rest. The algorithm uses approved dibs when resolving conflicts.
Dibs give a tier boost in the algorithm, so cleaning up abuse matters.
