Life happens. Someone was traveling, forgot, or had a crisis. If they miss the liking/ranking deadline, they typically can’t participate in that round. But you have options.

- Grace period — If you set one, they might still have a few extra hours. Check when the phase actually closed.
- Extend the phase — If your setup allows it, push the end date. Send a reminder so everyone knows.
- Run another round — Add the missed items to a future distribution and include them next time.
- Manual override — In some cases you can add their preferences after the fact, but that’s admin-heavy and may not be supported.
Prevention helps: send reminders a few days before and the day of the deadline.
