Overview

You disagree with an assignment and you’ve got a real reason. Here’s how to file a dispute. Be clear and factual—the executor will read it and decide.

Steps

  1. Go to My Inheritance or Disputes.
  2. Find the assignment you’re disputing.
  3. Click Dispute (or File Dispute).
  4. Write your reason. Include specifics: what’s wrong, what the executor should know, any evidence (e.g., “Mom’s note says X”).
  5. Submit. You’ll get a confirmation.
  6. Wait for the executor to review. They’ll uphold or override and notify you.

File before the dispute window closes. Late disputes may not be considered.
