Overview

Ranking is simple: put your liked items in order. 1 = most wanted, 2 = second most, etc. The algorithm uses this when resolving conflicts. Maybe you’re torn between two items—pick the one you’d fight harder for. That’s your #1.

Steps

  1. Go to My Inheritance (or the ranking view when the phase is open).
  2. See your liked items. Drag to reorder, or use up/down buttons if your interface has them.
  3. Put your absolute must-have at #1.
  4. Work down the list. Be honest—this affects who gets what.
  5. Submit when you’re done. You typically can’t change it after, so review first.

Pro tip: If you’re calling dibs, those should be near the top of your ranking too. Dibs + high rank = strong signal.
