Overview
Filing a dispute? The form asks for a reason and a detailed explanation. Maybe you’re not sure which option to pick, or how much to write. Here’s how to fill it out so the admin takes you seriously.
Reason Options
Pick the one that fits best: Fairness Concern (the split feels wrong), Algorithm Error (the system got it wrong), Family Preference (there was a verbal promise or prior agreement), Sentimental Value (you have a connection the algorithm didn’t know about), or Other (with a clear explanation).
Writing the Explanation
Be specific. Explain why you’re disputing, include relevant family context, and suggest an alternative if you think someone else should get it. 20–1000 characters—use them. “I want it more” won’t cut it. “Mom told me she wanted me to have this when I was 16, and it’s in her notes” will.
The admin reads every dispute. Make yours easy to understand and hard to dismiss.
