Overview

When your estate doesn’t use points or dollars, the system uses item count limits instead. Each tier gets a max number of items. Maybe you’re running a no-points distribution and need to set those caps.

Default Limits

  • Tier 1 (Children): 15 items max
  • Tier 2 (Grandchildren): 10 items max
  • Tier 3 (Extended Family): 5 items max
  • Tier 4 (Others): 3 items max

How to Adjust

Go to Estate Settings and find the No-Points Mode section. Tweak the limits to match your family’s hierarchy. Larger estates might need higher caps; smaller ones might use lower numbers to keep distribution tight.

These limits ensure fairness without valuing every item—the algorithm assigns until each person hits their cap.
